Bronzite, or ferroan enstatite,
is a magnesium iron silicate. It forms stubby prismatic crystals and,
more commonly, greenish-brown or bronze-brown compact masses with a
submetallic luster. A member of the pyroxene group, its associated
minerals are serpentine, magnetite, enstatite and olivine. |
