This is the collage site of AnitaNH:

"I am known in real life as Anita Muise. I first began making collage art in December of 2003 after discovering the wonderful book by Jonathan Talbot."

Collages by AnitaNH are on display at Anita's Beads.  Studio hours are 10:00 am to 5:00 pm (Closed Tue. and Wed.) Collage instruction is offered by appointment. Anita's Beads (and the artist's collage studio) is located on Route 153 at 2517 Wakefield Road in Wakefield, New Hampshire, less than a mile from Route 16.

June 2008 News:

6/29  I just created "Cigar Box No.1" and "Cigar Box No.2" for a July "Americana" show at the Gafney Library on High Street in Sanbornville, NH (right next to Town Hall). Thanks to watercolor artist Peter Abate for the motivation and for arranging the show which will be on view through the month of July.

May 2008 News:

5/15  In much the same manner as Joseph Cornell, I have created a collage in tribute to a famous person. Silene stellata 1954 (For Jane) is for my favorite film director, Jane Campion.

5/14  "The Atomist Confronts the Infinite Void" will make its public debut at the annual Wakefield, New Hampshire Pride Day celebration on Saturday May 17th. Watercolor artist Peter Abate has organized a show of friends including: Charles Kartsonis, Jill Vendituoli, Kevin Carnevale and Peggy Brewster. We will be displaying on the second floor of the Garvin Building which is right across from the Town Hall on the corner of High Street and Route 109. Show hours are 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

5/08  Completed my second Divorce Diptych called "A Sad Infatuation" and also "Hex Dots" a collaged study I have in mind for a future painting. I'm close to completing two other collages, "Catch Fly (For Jane)" and "The Atomist Confronts the Infinite Void."  There is one new acrylic painting: "PDoB Variation No.3".

April 2008 News:

4/30  New photo's added to the Anita's Studio folder. Can you spot the one with my cat, Mica?

4/29  Two collages added to the Found Image folder: "Simulacra" and "Be Yourself" .

March 2008 News:

3/26  "Primary Dots on Black" inspires a Manipulated Paintings page.

3/25  Finished second acrylic piece called "Primary Dots Variation No. 1."

3/24  Began painting in acrylic this Friday! My first piece is called "Primary Dots." Started a page for Acrylic Paintings under More Stuff.
